Speed Secrets: "I like to practice different lines so that
when I need to avoid traffic or make a pass I have options."
Racing Philosophy: "It’s more important to be smooth and
consistent as opposed to having the fastest lap, especially in long
mains."
Goals for 2007: "To win a World Championship in electric
offroad. Also, begin a new era in life with my newlywed wife."
What or who do you credit your success to?
"My Dad (Bruce) always taught me to put 100% to whatever I’m doing
and to put your whole self in to achieving your goals. Without his
guidance and encouragement I wouldn’t be where I am today." How
do you deal with pre-race nervousness?
"I try to remove myself from the moment. I’ll talk with friends and
make jokes to ease the tension before a race and to not make things
so serious." Why do you race R/C cars?
"In the beginning, I raced because R/C was closest thing to
motocross without the injuries. Now being at the R/C track is like
going to a family reunion. It’s fun to race with friends and be
competitive on the track then go hang out in the pits."
